Job Tracking

Job Tracking gives you access to a host of Job related operations and information:

The function of most buttons is obvious, and please note the Direct Access buttons in the left-hand panel for Job Cards and Despatch Office, so you can launch these items regardless of which departmental tab is selected.

Job Cards give you an overview of all your Active Jobs, with full status and progress information.  This is where you Close Jobs when they are complete (or partially complete - see Job Cards section), Stop Jobs that are cancelled, or Reactivate jobs which have previously been cancelled and which you wish to bring back to life.

Group Allocation allows you, at a click, to Allocate Materials to all jobs with a Start Date on or before any given date.

Job Series Process enables you to Allocate Materials, print Pick Lists, Issue Materials and/or print Serial No. Labels for all jobs in a series, at the click of a button.

Despatch Office is where you issue materials to third parties, e.g. finished goods or spare parts to customers.  A check box enables you to treat the transaction as free-issue.  Once you print the Despatch Note and or the Invoice, the transaction is closed and cannot be amended.  Stock movements are logged, and the transaction is also written to the Jobs Log file.

The Track/Shop ID Report  relates to the Track/Shop ID which can be set for each job.  This report will provide an analysis for each track, between any two dates you choose.

WiP Schedule provides a detailed analysis of all running jobs, showing what work is scheduled to be on the shop floor, what work is actually there, and a process by process breakdown, with colour-coded highlighting of due and overdue work.

Waiting Jobs lists all the jobs which are awaiting materials, with an item by item list for each job.
